The Inaugural 100-Foot Putt Challenge will take place on September 15, 2026, in Historic Biltmore Village, Asheville, NC.

A great opportunity awaits us all on Tuesday, September 15th when the Historic Biltmore Village Association sponsors "A 100-foot Putt Challenge" while the Biltmore Golf Championship is in town.

Chapter agenda:

•               1:00 PM – Lunch at Corner Kitchen

o  Optional – let Suzie Crook (info below) know by Sept 4^th if you are interested in lunch

•               2:00 PM – Block Party begins, featuring local shopping, dining, drinks, and a live DJ set by Kipper Schauer.

o  Attendance is completely free and spectators are encouraged to come cheer

o  Open Practice: Anyone can try the putt before the official competition begins - $5 for 3 putts (no experience required).

•      3:30 PM – The official Putt Challenge competition gets underway.

o  Official Competitors: A ticket must be purchased to compete in the main event. One ticket grants one attempt to sink the 100-foot putt. (see below for ticket and prize info) Click TICKETS to purchase, $47.64 each

🏆 The Rules & Prizes

• Winning: The first person to hole the putt wins. If no one sinks it, the participant whose ball stops closest to the cup wins the Grand Prize. Prizes are also awarded to the 1st and 2nd runners-up.
• The Course: The custom 100-foot green is being designed by Southwest Greens of Asheville and Nicklaus Design, featuring challenging slopes, contours, and water elements.
• The Officials: The tournament is officiated by the UNC Asheville Women's Golf Team.
• Grand Prize Package (Valued over $5,000): Includes 4 tickets to the PGA Biltmore Championship final round (Sept. 20, 2026), a 3-night stay at the Grand Bohemian Lodge, 2 Biltmore Estate annual passes, golf at Kiawah Island, and over $1,300 in local dining and shopping gift cards.
