ASGA Founder and CEO
|
The concept of "SinglesGolf" was born in 1992 when Tom happened upon some female golfers on a local golf course. That resulted in the formation of the Charlotte Singles Golf Association, which lead, in 1996, to the founding of the American Singles Golf Association. Tom has two daughters, Carrie and Christie, and four grandchildren. He enjoys quiet evenings playing classical and new age piano. In business, he's worked in printing and publishing, paper and paint. At the age of 29, he was awarded The Order of the Long Leaf Pine by Governor James Hunt, the highest civilian honor that can be granted to a civilian in the state of North Carolina as a result of his civic activities. His dream with ASGA is to see it grow as a national organization with 300 chapters in 300 cities. |
