We were at PGA National Resort these same dates in January, 2025 and many indicated they'd like to return. The Resort has given us favorable rates because 1) they like us and 2) we arrive on January 2nd after every visitor and vacationer heads home after the holidays. PGA National is a bucket list resort; it's been the site of the Honda Classic for 22 years and currently the venue for the The 2026 Cognizant Classic which is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, February 25, to Sunday, March 1, 2026. The tournament will be held at the Champion Course at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. 

So, explore the various tabs on the left side of this website and sign-up soon. Save additional when you room with a friend, otherwise we cannot guarantee ASGA will provide a roommate for you . . . but we will try!

DEPOSIT OKAY BUT FULL PAYMENT IS NEEDED RIGHT AWAY IF POSSIBLE IN ORDER TO SECURE YOUR ROOM!

If you are planning to go, we need a deposit or full payment for ASGA to contract the correct number of rooms, a/k/a room block.

Your payment will allow us to sign a contract with the Resort securing a specific block of rooms. When we fill-up the block we will have reserved, we will seek to add more rooms if necessary but there is no guarantee rooms will be available as the public will be reserving rooms during this time period as well. So please don't assume you can wait until the last minute to register.

GOT A ROOMMATE? And if you know you'll have a roommate, please get both of your registrations submitted at the same time, otherwise, you might be charged the room-by-yourself rate.

THE PACKAGES

Included in both packages (room-by-myself or room with someone) is the following:

• Four (4) nights' stay over five (5) days at the PGA Resort and Spa
• Three (3) rounds of golf at these courses: Fazio (Saturday, 01/03 - 1:00pm), Palmer (Sunday, 01/04 - 8:30am) and Champion (Monday, 01/05). Play the par-3, 9-hole Staples on the day of arrival (01/02) as an optional round.
• Four (4) dinners 
• Wifi on property
• 10% discount on golf retail
• 15% discount on spa (retail excluded)
• Group transportation to Seasons 52 - off property on our final night

ASGA GROUP PRICING

THIS IS PEAK SEASON FOR WARM AND SUNNY SOUTH FLORIDA.

RATES ARE HIGHER AND WE EXPECT GOOD WEATHER AS ALWAYS.

The Resort has given us prices never given to any group in recent years!

A $100 (IF ROOMING WITH SOMEONE) OR $200 (IF ROOMING ALONE) DEPOSIT OKAY BUT FULL PAYMENT IS NEEDED RIGHT AWAY IF POSSIBLE IN ORDER TO SECURE YOUR ROOM!

PRICE COMPARISON BETWEEN THE PUBLIC AND ASGA MEMBERS:

For the same courses, food and accommodations, our hotel contact estimates the public will pay:

• $4,223 if rooming alone
• $3,084 per person with a roommate

As a member of ASGA, your rates are:

• $2,539 if rooming alone - ROOM BY MYSELF PACKAGE
• $1,769 per person with a roommate * - YOU'LL HAVE A ROOMMATE PACKAGE

* ASGA may be able to provide a roommate for you, however, we cannot guarantee it. If you're one of the last to register, you may not be able to secure a roommate. Best if you provide your own roommate or register by yourself.

Optional (walking) round at the Staple Par 3 course on day-of-arrival (Jan. 2 at 2pm) for $44.

Play the Champion Course (site of the Honda Classic and upcoming Cognizant Classic) on Sunday, Jan. 4 with a shotgun start at 8:30am. Champion Course requires the use of fourcaddies at your cost of $30 paid to the fourcaddie in cash upon completion of your round.

Credit cards carry a 3% fee. Or, mail check to ASGA, P. O. Box 848, Pineville, NC 28134.   If paying by Zelle, ASGA's id number is 9808336450. No fee with Zelle.

All taxes and resort service fees have been included in the above totals.

Airfare is NOT INCLUDED in any package.  See the "Getting There" link on left side of this page for airport information and the Resort address.  To get to the Resort, you may have to take an UBER or LYFT or TAXI to get to the Resort unless you rent a car.

The dates are correct but the days of the week should have been Friday - Tuesday. It has since been corrected.   

It is our policy to email significant updates to attendees during and after the registration period.  If you do not have email or access to email, we rely on you to stay updated on the event by checking-in with this website from time to time.  All emails that update, modify or alter any detail of this event will have links to this page for your later review.  ASGA is not responsible if you do not read emails once you're registered.  Continue to check back to this site for updates.

If you wish to come up to three days early or stay up to three days late, your rate for those nights is as follows:

December 30, $299, December 31, $399, and January 1, $299 (all inclusive of tax and resort service fee); split in half if sharing with roommate.

January 6, 7, 8 - $299/night inclusive of tax and resort service fee; split in half if sharing with roommate.

If you're rooming with someone and you want to stay extra day(s) and they do not, or, if you've requested ASGA to provide you with a roommate and you want to stay extra day(s) by yourself, you are responsible for the room-by-myself rate for those extra night(s).

Breakfast or any meals on any event days or additional days is not included in your rate. 

NOTICE TO ATTENDEES REGARDING HOUSEKEEPING GRATUITY AND PORTERAGE FEE

(Per our contract with the Resort, we are required to post this statement):

The housekeeping gratuity and porterage fee will be left to the individual’s discretion. The Resort recommends a porterage fee of $10.00, per person, per room, and $2.50 per person, per day to cover housekeeping gratuities. It is the group’s responsibility to inform guests of these charges, unless specifically requested in writing to go to the master account. Group shall be solely and fully responsible for informing its attendees of these fees and that they are separate and distinct from the room rate and from taxes. Group may not, in any printed materials regarding the meeting or in any other manner, lump these fees into any category such as tax or room rate.

Anyone arriving prior to 4pm will be accommodated as soon as possible, but should be advised that there may be a wait. Arrangements can be made for baggage storage with the hotel's front desk staff.

If you have a special dietary need, please indicate that on your registration form.*

In our 4-night/5-day packages, the following will be included**:

• Four (4) dinners. The first three dinners will be at the Resort, the last one will be at Seasons 52, off-property.

Lunches and breakfasts are on your own.

* Food Allergies and/or Special Dietary Needs:  If you have a special dietary need, e.g., gluten free, meat free, fat-free, pork-free or a nothing burger, etc., you must notify at the time you register. Please DO NOT ask right prior to the food function as there will be no time for the kitchen to take care of your needs. There is a place on the registration form for you to indicate your dietary need. Once we are at a particular venue, it is UP TO YOU to notify the Resort staff or ASGA event leader who you are and that you are a person with the special dietary need.

For some ASGA-hosted events, meals may be served buffet-style and could include certain menu items (e.g., pork products such as bacon or sausage) that may not align with specific religious beliefs. Please be aware that these items may be on display. 

Itinerary

This website gives you the general itinerary.  The final itinerary will be printed in the Program & Pairings Guide and emailed to you as a PDF a few days prior to the event. Also, you'll be given a printed copy of the Program & Pairings Guide at the registration table upon checking in.

Getting To PGA National Resort

If you're driving to this venue, you'll likely have some sort of GPS with you.  So here's their information to put into your system:

If you're flying, you'll want to fly into PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL (PBI Airport). No shuttle service to the hotel is available, however, we suggest Uber, Lyft or a taxi to get you to the hotel.  It's about a $25 charge each way.

DO YOU RENT A CAR?  That is up to you, however, think about this: you'll likely fly into Palm Beach International Airport (PBI Airport) which is about 77 miles north of Miami. From there, you could take an Uber, Lyft or even a taxi and get to the Resort. (Share that cost if you are with another ASGA member.) We were told it's about a $25 Uber ride from the PBI airport. So we don't suggest renting a car. The Resort will provide transportation to all your on-property venues. We'll have dinner on property three out of four nights and group transportation is provided for the night we have dinner off property. The golf courses at PGA National are just out the back door of the hotel. Yes, they really are!   

PARKING: If you drive to the Resort, there is free self-parking. 

Travel Protection

Travel Protection is NOT INCLUDED in this event; however, you may purchase travel protection (trip insurance) on your own. This can cover you for a number of issues, including but not limited to your airfare, your registration fee, and other expenses.

Cancellation.  There is a 25% cancellation fee on or prior to 12/01/25. Absolutely NO refunds after 12/01/25. If your plans change, you can sell your position to another member.  Please do not ask ASGA to sell your position.

Travel Insurance.  At a recent event, we had 4 people who had to cancel their event due to family emergencies or injuries. Not only are we getting older, but we have family members who are as well. Please consider travel insurance either purchased at this site or on your own.
