This event is a REUNION EVENT - - open to all members, past and present, married or not married. ASGA National holds two reunion events each year (New Year's and the May event), connecting the past with the present.  Non-ASGA members pay an additional 3% over member cost. Details are presented herein.

Reunion at The Homestead 2019

Sunday, May 19 - Wednesday, May 22, 2019

(with optional rounds on Sunday and Wednesday)

The Omni Homestead Resort is a luxury resort in Hot Springs, Virginia, in the middle of the Allegheny Mountains. The area has the largest hot springs in the state, and the resort is also known for its championship golf courses, which have hosted several national tournaments. The resort also includes an alpine ski resort; founded in 1959, it is the oldest in Virginia. The resort has been designated a National Historic Landmark; it has a history extending more than two and a half centuries. The Omni Homestead Resort is a member of Historic Hotel of America[4] the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. (from Wikipedia ... to see more on The Homestead from Wikipedia, go here.)

To visit The Homestead Resort's website, click here.   To see a LIVE CAM from The Homestead, click here.

The address of The Homestead is:  7696 SAM SNEAD HIGHWAY, HOT SPRINGSVIRGINIA 24445

IMPORTANT:  We have reserved a block of 50 rooms our peak nights (Sunday - Wednesday).  You can register at any time, however, when we fill-up those rooms, we may not be able to get additional rooms because the public will be reserving rooms for this time period as well.  So please don't assume you can wait until the last minute to register. Register right away and if you know you'll have a roommate, please both of you register the same day if possible.

Optional Things to Enjoy:

The Homestead has a plethora of additional activities other than golf. Visit this link for more info. You would need to book additional activities through the hotel concierge.

Package Pricing - See Below.  Our rate is so low, you could easily pay for five more years of ASGA membership and not pay the price the public would pay for this same event.  The Homestead has treated us very well in the past (2005 and 2009). This is Southern Hospitality at its best.  The staff welcomes us again to their beautiful and historic resort.  (And although gratuities are included, please be sure to take care of your room and wait staff if you feel "moved" to do so!)

Open to Former Members, Married or Not

This is one of our two annual "reunion" event whereby ASGA allows former members to attend the event, whether married or not. Attendees of this category must pay a 3% premium. Former members who are still single can renew their membership. Go here to do that.

For ASGA members, keep in mind that you must be an ASGA member at the time of the event in order to attend.

Not sure when your dues expire, go here.

ASGA "Member Only" Packages - Former Members, Married or Not, are Welcome! (3% Surcharge)

** all packages except the non-golf package

Non-Golf Package: Call the office at 980-833-6450 (9-2, Eastern time) for your pricing.  Non-golf packages will not be sold until April 22, 2019. We must be "inside 30 days" in order to sell a non-golf package.

Under our group contract with Omni Homestead Resort, we have what are called "Resort Wide" rooms which means the Resort can put our attendees in any of their accommodations on the property. We do that to get our best rates which gets the largest attendance.

Airfare is NOT INCLUDED in any package.  If you're flying in, you'll likely fly into Roanoke, VA (ROA).  You'll probably want to either rent a car at the airport or take a shuttle.  If you know someone who's coming in on the same flight, think about sharing the cost of the rental car or shuttle service with them.  We suggest you post your request to share a ride under the FORUM green-bar link on this website.

From the Homestead:  "We use Roanoke Transportation:  http://www.roanokeats.com/ so we would suggest using them, as the scheduler will group guests so as to maximize vehicle capacity where possible.  Ground Transportation:  Sedan (1-3 guests) - $175.00 each way.  Van (4-8 guests) - $300.00 each way."

Example: So if there are 6 in a van, the $300 is divided by 6 with a final cost of $50/person. You won't know your final cost until it is determined how many people are in a vehicle. Also, to gang riders together, you may have to wait until the next flight comes in to get your best price. Contact Roanoke Airport Transportation Service for more info.  Phone 540-345-7710 or email RoanokeATS@aim.com.

More on getting from the airport(s) to the Resort under the "Getting There" link on the left.
