Happy Holiday to our ASGA friends, near and far. As another year comes to a close, we hope everyone has a fun, safe, and healthy holiday with friends, family, and golfers around the country. If you were not able to make our recent golf events, please come see us in the New Year.

In December, we were able to play Tijeras Creek in Rancho Santa Margarita on Sunday, December 2, at the great rate of $75. We had 8 players that day in perfect 65 degree weather. The course conditions were immaculate. I hope to have us back to Tijeras Creek again in early 2019. After golf we headed to a new spot, the Dublin 4 Gastropub in Mission Viejo for a fabulous dinner. We will definitely be back to this spot.

On Saturday, December 8, we played our annual Holiday Golf Event at Tustin Ranch, thanks to John. We had 24 golfers who played for the fabulous rate of $79. Not everyone was able to finish, and a few of us cut-out early, but everyone then headed over to Julieís for a very fun, and creative, Holiday Party celebration. We had about 30 partiers at Julieís this year. It is always so much fun watching people invent new rules for the holiday gift exchange. No one likes to have their prize winnings stolen, but thatís part of the game. People upped-the-ante this year with gifts as many of us emptied our closet of things we will never wear or use again. Some of us work on our gift-exchange all year long, so plan ahead for next year. Itís my intent to hold next yearís party at my house in Huntington Beach, so stay tuned.

For 2019, we have the first few months planned. In general, we plan-out three months ahead and keep the schedule rolling forward. We appreciate any help in planning our golf events, so just email me your ideas. In January we are playing Industry Hills Ike Course, thanks to Jeff, on Saturday 1/12, at 11:00, for the membersí rate of $90. We then have Talega in San Clemente planned for Sunday 1/27, at 11:00, for $60. February takes us to Coyote Hills in Fullerton on Sunday 2/17, followed by Oak Creek in Irvine, on Saturday 2/23. We are working on Tustin Ranch and Tijeras Creek for March.

Many thanks to all our members who have helped us this past year with golf courses, restaurants, and parties. As they say, it takes a village, and we consider all our members to be part of our village, so please think ahead and give us a hand in planning our next yearís events.

Happy Holiday to All.
