Labor Day weekend brought us back to slightly cooler temperatures all over our Orange County and Los Angeles courses. Many of our members were still on summer vacation travel, however, hopefully to even cooler lands.

In September we played Oak Creek on Sunday 9/9, in Irvine for a good rate of $89. We had six players who played a very fast round of golf, thanks to pro football starting that day and all the sports fans being locked on their TV screens. Thatís what we found after golf at the Yard House where we were able to secure the very last available table in the bar to watch a few games. We will be back at Oak Creek again in November.

Next we played Talega on Sunday 9/23 in San Clemente at another great rate of $60. We had 12 players at Talega and although the greens were aerated, we all had a fabulous time in the breezy 75 degree weather. Almost everyone joined in at dinner up the road at Cedar Creek Inn in San Juan Capistrano. We will continue to play Talega as long as they offer us this fabulous rate of $60.

Coming up in October we have Coyote Hills in Fullerton planned for Saturday, October 13. Jeff is having us back to†Industry Hills Babe†course on Saturday, October 20. †On Saturday, November 3, we will play Oak Creek in Irvine. On Sunday November 11 we will play Mile Square Players Course in Fountain Valley. And finally in December, we will play Tijeras Creek in Rancho Santa Margarita on Sunday December 2, and Tustin Ranch on Saturday, December 15, thanks to John. We may flip-flop these last two events however depending on when and where we hold our Holiday Party; stay tuned. We welcome ideas for future events, so just send us your suggestions.

Thanks to everyone that helps to make the LA/OC ASGA chapter so much fun. We appreciate ideas from our members for golf events, dinners, or other social activities. Our website calendar has the details for events planned so far;

Look forward to seeing you on the links soon.
