Electronic Payment Options
We have heard your requests for options to writing and mailing checks for golf and social events, and we are proposing an electronic option that some members have been using successfully. You can still write and mail checks if that’s your preference.
But if you want to pay electronically, set up ASGA as a payee in your bank’s electronic payment feature. Create a person in your banking system (some call it ASGA Philly) and enter Troy Newell’s contact details for the recipient:
813 Treetop Lane
Norristown, PA 19403
Instead of mailing the form, you can email the coordinator that you will be playing and have paid electronically, copying Troy. Either print the confirmation of the payment to bring to the course or save it as a pdf and email it to the coordinator so that he/she knows you have paid your registration fee.
Please Register on Time
No matter which option you choose, try to meet registration deadlines for outings (typically a week prior to the date). Many courses require a minimum number of golfers to block times, and we have to cancel if we don’t meet their requirements.
Coordinators need to know who is playing to create groups, plan for dinners, and other details. We appreciate that schedules change at the last minute and are glad to find space for you if we have an opening. Look at the golf calendar now and save dates on your calendar for the courses you want to play. Then when you get the reminder emails you can quickly respond with your preferred payment option.
Hope to see you on the golf course soon,
