Myrtle Beach, to some, is the Golf Capital of the World with nearly 100 courses along the Grand Strand.  It has always been a special place for golfers . . . but also known for a lot more!

Myrtle Beach, SC is easy to get to, either via I-95 or airline.  If flying, you'll want to fly into Myrtle Beach International (airport code MYR). For general flight information, go to to see the airlines that service Myrtle Beach.

* All Players are Eligible for CASH!

Battle for the Cash!

We will designate one (1) hole to be the "cash hole."  This will be interesting!

All mulligan money "pre-paid" via your registration form will be matched by ASGA National and will be paid out to the winner of a pre-designated par 3 closest-to-pin.  This hole will be announced in the Program and Pairings Guide you will receive prior to attending the event and/or at the event.   So if $400 is pre-paid for mulligans, $800 will be given to the proximity winner of this contest on Saturday night. Mulligans purchased at event do not count as pre-paid mulligans, only those who pay when registering and notated on your registration form.

Membership in the American Singles Golf Association required.  You must be an ASGA member at the time of the event in order to attend.  To see when your dues expire go here.

The Packages - Room by yourself or Save $$ with a Roommate

This is a Multi-Chapter Golf Weekend in PRIME GOLF SEASON that includes:

  • 3 nights’ stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott adjacent to Broadway at the Beach and a 20-minute walk to the ocean
  • 2 rounds of golf (incl. cart, green fees, range balls, prizes for winners)
  • Also Includes: Welcome gift, welcome party on arrival Thursday (cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres), dinner at course Friday after golf, Saturday night dinner at Rioz's - walking distance from the hotel

OPTIONAL NIGHTS:  Many members come a day or two early or stay a day or two after the event just to explore the area on their own or with friends.  So you can arrive up to 3 days early (Oct 23) or depart 3 days late (Oct. 29, 30, 31).  Room rate is $130/night if you room alone; $65/night based on double occupancy (prices include state & local taxes).

We'll have TWO OPTIONAL ROUNDS of golf, as follows:

  • Thursday, Oct. 26 at Myrtlewood Golf (Palmetto Course).  Tee times start at 10:56am.  Cost is $77.00 for cart and green fees.
  • Sunday, Oct. 29 at World Tour Golf.  Tee times start at 9:10am.  Cost is $109 for cart and green fees.  This course replicates many famous holes from around the country.  Check-out their website.

If you room with someone else, cost is $429.00 for standard package.  If you room by yourself, cost is $599.00 for room-by-myself package.  All prices shown on this website include sales tax and any additional fees and/or service charges. Self parking is also included.

The rooms we are being assigned are an assortment of both King and Double/Double rooms.  Under our group contract with the Beach House Resort, we have what are called "ROH" or "Run of House" rooms which means the hotel can put our attendees in any of their rooms in the hotel. We do that to get our best rates which hopefully gets our largest attendance.

Airfare is NOT INCLUDED in any package.  If you're flying in, we suggest you take a plane.  You'll likely fly into Myrtle Beach International (MYR), a 15-minute drive to the hotel.  If you don't want to rent a car, just take a taxi or Uber to the hotel and back.  We don't believe there's a shuttle running in Myrtle Beach.  If you know someone who's coming in on the same flight, maybe from your chapter, think about sharing the cost of the shuttle or car rental with them.  Use the FORUM BUTTON at left to communicate with others attending this trip.

More on getting from the airport(s) to the Resort under the "Getting There" link on the left.
