To visit the Marriott Evergreen Resort's website, click here.

IMPORTANT:  We have reserved a block of 80 rooms.  You can register at any time, however, when we fill-up those rooms, we may not be able to get additional rooms because the public will be reserving rooms for this Memorial Day weekend as well.  So please don't assume you can wait until the last minute to register.  In 2016, we sold out of everything by May 1.  Register right away and if you know you'll have a roommate, please both of you register the same day if possible.

Optional Things to Enjoy:

Stone Mountain, in itself, is a great tourist attraction.  More info at  In addition, there's a great light show on Memorial Day Weekend on the side of the mountain.  Info here.

The City of Atlanta has oodles of fun places to visit.  Click here to review the possibilities.  Check out the "city pass" to get you into a number of places at a discount.

Optional Golf for our Die Hards

If you've played the two courses on Friday and Saturday at Stone Mountain Golf Club and you've still not secured your hole-in-one, we're offering two additional rounds on the day you arrive and the day you depart, i.e. May 25 and May 28. On May 25, we will play at Heritage Golf Links at noon and on May 28, we'll play at Bear's Best at 9am.  Tee times on both rounds.

Optional Dinner Sunday Night

If you're staying Sunday night, we'll gather in the hotel lobby at 6:00pm and head-out to dinner at a local restaurant.  There will be a sign-up sheet at registration.

Open to Former Members, Married Or Not

This is a "reunion" event whereby ASGA allows former members to attend the event, whether married (if you have the strength) or not.  Attendees in this category must pay a 5% premium. Former members who are still single can renew their membership for $79 annually. Go here to do that.

For ASGA members, keep in mind that you must be an ASGA member at the time of the event in order to attend.

Not sure when your dues expire, go here.

The Packages

See below* for what's included in all packages.  First, here are your accommodations included with the packages:

  • You have a roommate, $569
  • You have a roommate and a lake view for all days of your stay:  $605
  • Room by Yourself, $819
  • Room-by-Yourself and you have a lake view for all days of your stay:  $855

Non-Golf Package: Call the office at 980-833-6450 (9-2, Eastern time) for your pricing. Non-golf packages will not be sold until April 25, 2017.  We must be "inside 30 days" in order to sell a non-golf package.

Room / Hotel Comments:  Under our group contract with Marriott Evergreen, we have what are called "ROH - Run of House" rooms which means the hotel can assign a room to you anywhere in the hotel. We do that to get our best rates which gets the largest attendance. Other than lakeside, no rooms can be upgraded.

Airfare is NOT INCLUDED in any package.  If you're flying in, we suggest you take a plane.  You'll likely fly into Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL).  The Marriott Evergreen at Stone Mountain is about a half-hour away.  Uber and Lyft were found to be the least expensive and they may even have a location at the airport for pick-up and drop-offs. A local estimated the cost to be around $25 one way.  Otherwise, you'll probably want to either rent a car at the airport.  If you know someone who's coming in on the same flight, think about sharing the cost of the rental with them.

Because the Marriott Evergreen is a resort, an 18% service charge may be added to your bill at any dining outlets.  This fee has already been included in dining events under your package you purchase through ASGA.  Gratuities for any other service staff, i.e. transportation, housekeeping, etc. are at your own discretion.

More on getting from the airport(s) to the Resort under the "Getting There" link on the left.

* In all packages**, the following items are included:

  • 3 nights lodging at the Evergreen Marriott Resort at Stone Mountain, Georgia  (Thu/Fri/Sat/nights, May 25, 26 & 27, 2017)
  • 2 rounds of golf (incl. cart, green fees, range balls, prizes) - Lakemont and Stonemont Courses. Play your own ball each day.  Scoring will be 2-best net ball of each foursome. Optional day-of-arrival (noon 5/25) & day-of-departure (9am 5/28) golf.  Prize certificates for the proximity and team winners.
  • 6 food functions: 1 Welcome Party (hors d’oeuvres); 3 hot breakfast buffets at the Marriott, 2 evening dinners at the Resort
  • DJ and dancing on final night (if 100 or more attend this event), welcoming gift, cash bar at most events, 50/50 raffle.
  • Includes all resort service fees & taxes.

Prizes.  First and second place team prizes will be awarded for each round, each day.  Prizes are awarded based on the best two (2) net balls of each foursome as well as proximity markers on all par 3's. Winners will be announced at the Saturday award's dinner.  ASGA $25 Prize Certificates will be awarded to the winners.  These certificates are good towards your annual dues, another ASGA National-sponsored multi-chapter event such as this one, or an ASGA logo'd golf shirt.

Golf Club Storage.  The clubhouse at the Marriott Evergreen has agreed to store your golf clubs between rounds and have them sitting on your cart for your next day of play.  On your final day, remember to take your clubs back to your accommodation.  This does not pertain to any rounds of golf play off-resort.

Click here to go to Stone Mountain Golf's website.
