The rains appear to have stopped and the sun is shining bright. Things are back to normal in Southern California. March took us to Tustin Ranch for a very fun event followed by a party back at Julie’s house. Our many thanks to John for booking us to play his course and to Julie for hosting all of us (and then some) for a fabulous dinner, music, and fun party. The twenty of us who golfed all made it back to Julie’s to close-out a beautiful day. Our second event in March was at Strawberry Farms for another beautiful day. While we had a small turn out at Strawberry, we hope to be back there again this year with a full contingent of members.

Looking ahead, we are set to play Monarch Beach in Dana Point on Sunday, April 9, at a special rate of $105, followed by Tijeras Creek on Saturday, April 29, at the rate of $90. In May we will play Arroyo Trabuco on May 6 followed by Industry Hills Ike Course on May 27. And in June the plans are to play Coyote Hills and one of the Irvine courses. We have dinners and/or parties in work following each event. We welcome golf course ideas from everyone, so call your favorite course and find us a date to play. We are especially hoping some of our new LA county members can pick a course up their way for us to play for the first time.

We look forward to seeing everyone on the links soon.
